People are living a very busy life nowadays. We have a bundle of chores to do in our workplaces. We have daily 24 hours to complete our assigned tasks but according to the present situation, we need more time to complete the things. Most of us are gnawing and feeling stressed about our present situation.

In our last session of fellowship, we did many fun activities. Having fun in the workplace is very important, it helps to be more productive and engaged. It is a source of refreshment during your downtime. It was a sublime experience talking to fellows and mentors during the session. Sometimes listening to someone helps you to understand different opinions on the same point. Conversations can provide you an opportunity to know and understand someone. In that last session, we tried to connect through our reflections on our 3 months amazing journey. Everybody was sharing his/ her experience of learning. They were appreciating their fellows and mentors who helped them to learn and grow as professionals through this fellowship. The last session was full of learnings. We learned that the learning process never ends. We learned that every person in a team has an important role in the success of a team. We learned that we can learn a lot by just observing our fellows. We learned the importance of appreciation, gratitude, and kind words for others. We learned how we can win the hearts of others with a positive attitude. The whole session was a depiction of learnings from a three-month-long fellowship.

If someone is going to be a member of a group of strangers and they are assigned a task to do, they can complete the task at that moment. But to improve the quality of their work they have to be more familiar with each other. They have to know each other’s strengths. They would be more productive in their work if they are more comfortable with each other in their workplace. This would only be possible if they start discussing different work-related aspects with each other. So, we can say that it is important to connect and do things just for our emotional uplift sometimes, even without focusing on work.

I would try to strengthen the bond of friendship with my batch fellows. These marvelous fellows would remind me, the golden days of fellowship. We would try to liaise with each other through our social media accounts and in-person gatherings in the upcoming future. We would try to reach each other at the time of need.

The list of my learnings from this fellowship is very long but here I would love to mention a few important learnings. I was good at communication but not enough to communicate with confidence with anyone despite his designation. I learned how to start a conversation and become an ice breaker. I can use this skill to increase my social circle. Even I can utilize this skill to ask strangers for job opportunities. I have learned the importance of showing gratitude to someone as it can be used to garnish a beautiful dish of learning. Others can feel your pure soul if you pay gratitude to them for their work for you. In the future, I would try to win the hearts of people with this newly learned technique. Signing off!
